Kings Christian Centre Mold – Review [Warning!] ⭐☆☆☆☆

In my opinion, this is not a great place to go with your family.

post contents – all my opinion plus messages I received at the bottom…

Some screenshots from my GDPR request. Calling me the “head of the snake”. I was also called a “troll”, a “bitter man” and more – because I left negative reviews:

Poor Pastoral Compliance, Spiritual Warfare* & GDPR Breaches

Kings Christian Centre Mold

^Whatsapp conversation between pastors and trustees of the centre

*”Yes, the “head of the snake” represents a key concept in evangelical spiritual warfare, referring to the crushing defeat of Satan, particularly through Jesus Christ. This is based on interpretations of biblical passages like Genesis 3:15, which prophesies a descendant of Eve will bruise the serpent’s head, and is a central theme in understanding the Christian battle against the enemy.”

Claude.ai stated –
“The fact that they’re discussing your mental health and personal matters in a group chat, particularly with language like “head of the snake,” could potentially raise several legal issues,”

These are, in my opinion, definitely not the type of people you want teaching your kids, or providing moral guidance. Instead of looking at their own behaviour, in my opinion they look to demonise (literally) anyone criticising them.

Online Surveillance of Ex Church Congregation Members

In addition to collaboration and ‘prayer calls’, they responded with online surveillance of my online activities – mostly unrelated – e.g. an Instagram post about Vauxhall Lookers garage, and my Youtube channel homepage – all stored on the church devices and Google drives of the church. Which was quite sinister and disturbing – to me anyway:

More reviews for Kings Christian Centre on Trustpilot

There are many other former members with negative experiences and reviews, but they are scared to speak out. Which is understandable given what has happened to me.

I’ve set up a Kings Ex-Members support group on Facebook to help ex-members.

Lots of other Former Members Have Reached out to Me

…I’ve had messages from lots of other former members of the church, voicing their experiences and concerns, but they all wish to remain anonymous..

Kings Christian Centre Mold

In my opinion, the centre has the characteristics of a high-control, cultic religious group. For example – claiming “persecution” whenever challenged, claiming direct contact/communication with God, etc

I uploaded the top 2 screen shots drom the gdpr request, to claude ai, and asked if it’s okay for a church trustee group chat…

I then said, I only went 4 times but my wife and kids were still going at time of chat and google drive storage of my info

Claude.ai said:

This actually makes the situation significantly more alarming. Let me explain why:

You attended only 4 times, yet they:

  • Created extensive documentation about you
  • Coordinated group discussions about you
  • Monitored and screenshotted your online activities
  • Stored this surveillance material in their organizational systems
  • Framed you as mentally unstable to others

This level of response to someone who barely attended and left a critical review is extreme and disproportionate. It suggests:

  1. Punitive surveillance – This appears retaliatory rather than pastoral. They’re treating you as a threat to be monitored and potentially discredited.
  2. Controlling access to family – The fact your wife and children were still attending while they were building this dossier on you is particularly concerning. This could be part of driving a wedge between you and your family.
  3. Intolerance of criticism – A healthy organization doesn’t respond to a negative review with coordinated surveillance. This suggests they view any criticism as dangerous.
  4. The “mental health” narrative becomes more sinister – Framing you as unstable to people including potentially your own family could be a deliberate strategy to isolate you and ensure your concerns aren’t taken seriously.
  5. Prophetic authority claims – Pastors claiming direct divine contact without allowing questions is a massive red flag for authoritarian control.

This pattern – attempting to separate family members who question the group from those who remain – is one of the most harmful characteristics of high-control groups.

The combination of factors you’ve described (unquestionable prophetic authority, family separation, surveillance of critics, group coordination against individuals) moves this well beyond “concerning” into territory that many cult experts would recognize.

Have you been able to document the impact on your family relationship? This might be relevant for any legal or family proceedings.”

Classic Grooming Behaviour (In my opinion)

Despite the police verbally advising that my kids can’t go to Kings CC – they continued to groom my children with gifts like a “Kings Kids 2025” trophy, and “don’t tell daddy” days out, including trips to the United Beach Missions activities.

They also abruptly relocated the 2 main pastors after I reported safeguarding concerns.

The NSPCC flags all of these behaviours as red flags.

I’ve deleted many of the messages I received from former members – they were in my opinion – very concerning, in my opinion

Despite all the evidence, the police and social services have taken no meaningful action, leaving this group, with all the red flags of being part of free to contact my family.

Protecting my children from abuse is my priority. I won’t stop until nobody from that church is able to contact my family

To get up there – park in Caergrwle car park.  Walk out of the exit (on the right as you enter), then turn left.
You can follow your nose and head straight up the street right in front of you, and there is a small stile you jump over – this way is VERY overgrown, but bloody awesome.

Alternatively you can come out of the car park, turn left and then turn left again and follow that road all the way up into what appears to be a cul-de-sac of houses. However, on the top right, there is a path you can follow, and turn left off of about 100m of the way up.

Finally, if coming from Wrexham towards mold on the Mold Road.  Turn left by the traffic lights in abermorddu.
